Big Love, No Money Tour: Brent Tyler & Calvin Locke |
Leap Of Faith...
Brent Tyler & Calvin Locke are two singer/songwriters from Calgary teaming up for a March long tour across western Canada performing soulful and heartfelt songs with an aggressive and engaging acoustic style influenced by the likes of Martin Sexton, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Jeff Buckley, and Dave Matthews. Two dudes. Two guitars. 20+ shows in the month of March.
‘Big Love, No Money’ describes the larger than life hearts these two musicians have and is a reflection of their commitment to broadening their reach regardless of the monetary costs. It takes a level of discipline to continue the pursuit of musical dreams in a grey climate of global recession and a withering economy. A leap of faith is required. Imagining experiences that can never be replicated behind a computer in the comfort of your own home, Brent Tyler & Calvin Locke are heading out to shake some hands and kiss some babies. Make connections in new communities hoping to bridge the gap between their hearts desire and the music consumers of western Canada and beyond.
Songs stripped down from their studio production and performed in intimate venues where the lyrics and raw energy of their performance will surely connect with listeners. Introspective lyrics, ample guitar skills, and soulful voices will define this tour bringing these two creative forces together for a positive yin and yang of ‘Big Acoustic Love’.
